Dear Family and Friends,

Hey! Hope you all are doing really well.

There's lots to tell you about my new area here in Rohnert Park. The branch here is great from what I've seen so far. The members of the church that we've met have been really really nice and welcoming and generous. There are 136 recorded members of the congregation but some have moved, etc. and I think yesterday there were 40 or so people at church. The area where the sister missionaries were teaching the most people before is now being covered by the Elders, and we have moved to a new apartment and a different part of the area. So we are currently teaching only 1 person but we're looking for more! We have a lot of work to do... It's been a little stressful adjusting and everything but it's exciting too.

My new companion is awesome. She served a performing mission in Nauvoo last summer. She is very musical and plays the piano and sings really well. She's been a little sick, but not too bad. We've both been a little stressed, so that hasn't helped with the getting better. She is from Salt Lake City and knows President Pingree from the Texas Houston Mission because he was her stake president there in Utah before. She graduated in American Studies from BYU and is super smart. She is also incredibly supportive and serves me all the time. We are learning a lot together.

Our goal is to get this area up and going during this next transfer. I know Heavenly Father is helping us.
